Despite not having played in three years, Colin Kaepernick is still holding out hope that he can return to the NFL.
Back in February Kaepernick settled his lawsuit with the NFL after he claimed that the owners in the league blackballed him because of his political views.
Colin Kaepernick has reached a confidential settlement with the NFL. Sounds like the NFL is paying him to go away quietly. I'm surprised he agreed to that. https://t.co/4laoAC1BmJ

Kaepernick was reportedly paid less than $10 million by the league in the settlement.

Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid, the NFL stars who alleged the league’s teams colluded to keep them off the field after they led protests during the national anthem, will receive less than $10 million to settle grievances with the league, according to people briefed on the deal.
Today, Kaepernick revealed his workout routine in a video posted on social media where he says he’s working out for “five hours, five days a week” and that he’s “still ready” to play football.
While Kaepernick is only 31-years-old, teams do not seem interested in signing which is unfortunate because it looks like he could still contribute in a backup role if needed.
