College basketball fans just witnessed and absolutely wild matchup between North Carolina and Baylor. It looked like the game was over when UNC extended their lead to 25 with just under 11 minutes left in the game. UNC had been in complete control of the game nearly from the start and it didn’t seem like that would change. It turns out that the action was just getting started.
Brady Manek would be ejected for throwing an elbow shortly after and that seemed to spark something in Baylor that had been missing all game. Baylor would fight all the way back to tie the game with 15 seconds remaining and send it to overtime.
Unfortunately for the Bears, the comeback ended there. UNC was able to steady themselves at the start of overtime and never trailed in the OT period. It was one of the craziest games we’ve seen so far in this season’s edition of March Madness and fans had plenty to say about the action.
