EA Sports is set to drop College Football 25 at some point this summer. An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but a decade-long video game drought is coming to an end in 2024.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding details. Very few people outside of the developers themselves have provided any information about how things might look and/or sound.
Even though the trailer looks awesome, it was very bare bones. Most of what was teased had yet to be finished. Sketches and renderings gave a limited look at the fanfare surrounding the game, like tunnel runs and stadium, not the actual game itself.
One thing we do know for sure is that Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler will once again be featured in the game. They voiced NCAA 14 and are set to run it back for College Football 25. Desmond Howard is rumored to be involved as well.
Recent social media activity may also indicate the inclusion of additional non-ESPN broadcasters. EA SPORTS College Football’s official Instagram page follows just 16 other account.
Among them are both ESPN College Football and College Football on FOX.
Might this mean that there will be more than one broadcast crew in the game??
This is pure speculation at this point. There is no tangible indication that Fox broadcast crews like Gus Johnson, Jenny Taft and Joel Klatt are featured in College Football 25. They have not hinted at their inclusion in the same way as Herbstreit and Fowler.
But @easportscollege didn’t follow CBS’ college football account! It could be a sign!

Being able to play a game between, say, Florida State and LSU with Herbstreit and Fowler on the call would be a joy. We have been waiting so long for this new release that it doesn’t matter who is call. With that being said, also being able to play a game between, say, Michigan and Ohio State with Johnson and Klatt on the call would make it just that much better!
