Football Fan Clobbered By Security While Storming The Field After Kansas’ Upset Of Colorado

The Kansas Jayhawks pulled one of many college football upsets this weekend, taking down Big 12 rival Colorado in dominant fashion. After jumping out to a 17-0 lead in Arrowhead Stadium, KU cruised to a 37-21 victory.

The win was the Jayhawks‘ third straight against a ranked foe as they’ve shaken up the conference standings late in the season. One fan got a little too excited about the team’s most recent surprise!

Kansas was in control of the game from start to finish, jumping out to that early advantage before holding off a second half Buffalo comeback attempt. The Jayhawks outgained a high-flying Colorado attack by more than 200 yards while doubling the Buffs up in first downs and time of possession.

Colorado pulled to within two points on a Travis Hunter touchdown in the third quarter, but they wouldn’t score again. After the win, fans celebrated – as they should! There aren’t many college football teams much hotter than the Jayhawks over the last three weeks of the season.

One fan got a little too caught up in the moment, though. He attempted to storm the field solo, which ended in disaster!

Kansas QB Jalon Daniels watched the scene unfold in real time. He gave a comical response while greeting Colorado players after the fact.

“This is an NFL stadium,” he said. “You can’t just do that.” The fan probably wishes he’d had that advice prior to his attempt to run onto the field!
