19th-ranked Colorado will face its biggest test of the year so far against 10th-ranked Oregon on Saturday afternoon. The Buffaloes, led by Deion Sanders, are the hottest team in college football and command all of the headlines with their every move.
Never before has a program been so well-documented. Colorado has multiple cameras following the players and coaches throughout the day and multiple YouTube channels churn out content on a daily basis.
Although the constant coverage has ruffled some feathers (mostly among the grumpy olds), it has created the most polarizing program in the country. Well, that and the Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach who loves the spotlight.
The Buffaloes rolled into Eugene on Friday afternoon and got their first look at Autzen Stadium. Most of the players came from other programs so this will be their first road game against the Ducks.
Upon arrival, quite a few Colorado players stepped all over the ‘O’ at midfield. Safety Trevor Woods even went so far as to rake the logo with his foot. It doesn’t get much more disrespectful than that.
Former Oregon linebacker Bryson Young took issue with how the Buffaloes acted on Friday and he hopes that the Ducks see it the same way. He wants them to use the disrespect as fuel.
