Deion Sanders landed a major piece to the 2024 recruiting class as the nation’s top offensive lineman committed to Colorado on Thursday. The big man did so on national television, announcing his pledge on “Undisputed” with Skip Bayless and Keyshawn Johnson.

Jordan Seaton is headed to Boulder.

The IMG Academy star is rated by On3 Sports as the top offensive tackle in his class, and the sixth-best player regardless of position.

A five-star prospect, he’ll likely have a shot at immediate playing time given the performance from last year’s front five at CU. While the offense often shined behind the play of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, the offensive line was a major issue.

Colorado ranked 129th in the country (out of 130) in sacks allowed, giving up nearly five a game. They were the nation’s leader in total sack yardage, losing almost 500 yards (!) on those 56 sacks.

For reference, the next closest team was Old Dominion at 362 yards.

Seaton’s arrival can’t come quickly enough for the Buffs.

Colorado recruiting adds to a position of need.

In true Coach Prime fashion, the lineman made his commitment on the largest stage. Taking a seat at the table for Thursday morning’s episode of “Undisputed,” Seaton announced his decision live in front of Skip, Keyshawn, and Michael Irvin.

“For the next three to four years,” Seaton teased while pulling a hat from below his seat. “I’ll be going to the University of Colorado.”

The news came shortly after Colorado landed a new offensive line coach in Phil Loadholt.

Realizing the magnitude of the pledge, the crew immediately responded.

“Somewhere, Shedeur is doing handstands!” Bayless said.

Others offered their reactions online after seeing the decision.

“Colorado is going to be cooking the Big 12 going forward.”

“I said it before, and I’ll say it again. Give Shedeur an o-line and it’s a race between him and Travis Hunter for Heisman.”

“Huge area of need. #WeComin'”

With Seaton in the boat, the Deion Sanders’ 2024 recruiting class moves up to 27th in the nation.
