Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has found a new home with the Indianapolis Colts, according to his agency SportsTrust.

McKenzie is a small yet dynamic gadget player, standing at 5’8 and weighing 173 pounds. He is known for his explosive agility and speed and has the ability to contribute both on offense and special teams.

With the Colts, McKenzie is expected to replace Parris Campbell and could function as the team’s top slot receiver. While he may not be a fantasy powerhouse behind Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce, it’s possible that new head coach Shane Steichen can find ways to use McKenzie and make an impact on offense.

During the 2022 season with the Bills, McKenzie finished with a 42/423/4 line on 65 targets, and this is likely close to the volume he can expect to receive in Indianapolis as the team’s primary third wideout.

McKenzie was released from the Bills on Friday, he was due a roster bonus over the weekend. By parting ways with the veteran wideout, the Bills saved just over $2.7 million in cap space.

McKenzie joined the Bills during the 2018 season and appeared in 68 regular season games for the club. During his time with the Bills, he had 137 catches for 1,316 yards and 11 touchdowns, while also running the ball 46 times for 226 yards and four touchdowns.

Overall, McKenzie brings versatility and speed to the Colts’ offense and special teams units. While he may not be a star player, he has the potential to make a significant impact in Indianapolis as a role player.
