In a post-game tirade, Washington Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen expressed his frustration following a 14-7 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday.

“They whooped our a–, plain and simple. Got to be better,” Allen said, according to NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay.

Allen continued to vent his frustrations, citing a lack of focus and attention to detail as the reasons behind the team’s struggles, when asked if it gets frustrating, Allen didn’t mince words, saying, “F— yes, it does. I’m f—— tired of this s—. I’m f—— tired of this b——-. It’s been seven f—— years of the same s—. I’m tired of this s—.”

These strong comments from Allen cast a shadow over Ron Rivera, the coaching staff, and the players as they approach a potential offseason of change under new ownership.

Magic Johnson, co-owner of the Commanders, also expressed his disappointment with the team’s performance.

Commanders quarterback Sam Howell has been sacked 40 times this season through seven games. That is a record pace considering the full season record in 16 games is 76.

As the season progresses, the Commanders will need to regroup and prepare for their upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Allen.
