Dan Snyder has reportedly received a couple of offers for the Washington Commanders, with Magic Johnson’s group currently the favorite to land the team.

However, we shouldn’t count out Jeff Bezos just yet, as a new report may suggest the multi-billionaire could make a last-minute offer.

According to Charles Gasparino, Snyder is open to Bezos making an offer for the Commanders.

Apparently, Dan Snyder came to an understanding that Jeff Bezos doesn’t control what’s published by the Washington Post. He simply owns the company.

It’s interesting to note that this conclusion was actually made “weeks ago.” However, there hasn’t been any word of Bezos actually making an offer right now.

Even so, the fact that Snyder is open to selling the Commanders to the creator of Amazon creates speculation that Bezos could make a last-minute offer.

Here’s the Pat McAfee Show breaking it down.

Considering Jeff Bezos is one of the richest people in the world, he should be able to pretty much outbid the competition.

Regardless, here we are with the Commanders still for sale. The $6 billion offer from the group Magic Johnson is with is reportedly the highest offer for the franchise.

Based on how things are playing out, we should be seeing a sale go down relatively soon.

If that’s the case, then Jeff Bezos might want to get his offer in sooner, rather than later.

Of course, there’s the chance he’s not even interested in buying the Commanders anymore. We’ll see how it plays out, but hopefully, we have an answer soon.
