The Washington Commanders came out of nowhere and earned probably the biggest upset win of the season. Nobody thought they could beat the Philadelphia Eagles, let alone on the road. Now, after the big win, the team gave Taylor Heinicke the Kirk Cousins treatment to celebrate.

Dov Kleiman shares a clip of the Commanders’ quarterback draped in jewelry. He’s clearly having a great time, as his teammates clearly support him. Washington has played with a bit more spark since Taylor Heinicke subbed in for an injured Carson Wentz.

With the amount of energy the Commanders have with Heinicke under center, it’s hard to imagine Wentz getting the starting job back. I mean, how can you bench a guy double-fisting Busch Light camo cans and draped in chains like Kirk Cousins?

At the end of the day, this was a massive win for the Commanders. Not only did they spoil the Eagles’ perfect season, but Washington is back to .500 on the year. They’re playing with grit and determination, all thanks to Taylor Heinicke’s spark off the bench.

For that reason, we better continue seeing Heinicke as the starting quarterback for the Commanders. Considering Dan Snyder brings so much darkness to this franchise, the fanbase deserves to have fun watching the team at least.

So, here’s to hoping Heinicke keeps the starting job even when Carson Wentz returns from injury. We’ll always root for somebody double-fisting Busch Lights after a big win.
