Yes, I know. We’ve been teased about this Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather superfight for months and months now. The problem is, both of these guys know that if it were to happen it would make SO much money so we have to always leave open the chance that it might.

McGregor is still out there showing off what a great boxer is for anyone who wants to see it and keeps saying it’s going to happen.

Even Dana White of the UFC now seems to be a bit more amenable to letting McGregor do this one-off fight after making financial offers to both men.

And Mayweather is still trolling McGregor and saying that all he is interested in at this point is fighting McGregor.

All that being said, let’s just take this latest report that McGregor and Mayweather have agreed to terms for their megafight with several grains of salt.

Reports The Irish Sun

A source close to the Straight Blast Gym star told the Irish Sun: “Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed a deal to fight and have both settled on their respective fees.

“The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third party hold-up but all the details have all been agreed on.

“The fight could even be announced within two weeks.”

That third party, if I were to guess, would be Dana White.

As usual this is awesome news if it is true, but give me a call when there is an actual press conference or media release confirming it, mmkay?

Until then, keep up the smack talk, boys. It’s certainly been a lot of fun so far.
