After Khabib Nurmagedov put a beat down on Edson Barboza on Saturday during UFC 219, the Russian MMA fighter was feeling himself and went on to say that he was ready to fight both Tony Ferguson and Conor McGregor on the same night if the UFC would allow him to do so.
“Tony or Conor, don’t matter,” he said during the post-fight press conference. “Maybe if the UFC approves, I can fight with these guys in the same night. I swear, no joke.
“Maybe I have to stay humble, but tonight, I have to smash these guys and get these guys back, because these guys talk too much when I’m injured,” he said. “But when I’m healthy, I don’t see these guys.”
Conor caught wind of Khabib’s comments and lost his fucking mind on Twitter.

Of course Khabib had to fire back at Conor and accuses the UFC champ of running away from a title fight because he’s scared.

As much as McGregor wants to act big and tough here we all know there’s no chance in hell he’s going to fight Nurmagedov especially after what Khabib did to Edson Barboza. Conor can save all that energy for his next fight against Nate Diaz or whoever he ends up fighting in the future.
