Conor McGregor made quick work of seven-time featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, knocking him out in just 13 seconds with a vicious left hook to become the UFC featherweight champion. It was the quickest knockout in UFC history and it came the expense of a man who hadn’t lost an MMA fight in a DECADE.
After the fight, the 27-year-old Irishman admitted to feeling bad for humiliating Jose and told him he was open to a rematch. Aldo wants another shot at the brash Irishman, by telling the media via a translator:
“He threw a cross at my chest I wasn’t expecting. I think we need a rematch. It wasn’t really a fight.”
Apparently, McGregor didn’t feel that bad for the 29-year-old Brazilian, uploading a short video to Facebook today twisting the knife of defeat into Aldo. The video has been viewed almost 5 million times and has close to 100,000 likes.
A little context: McGregor clairvoyantly predicted the outcome of the fight back in November: “I see him over-reacting, over-extending, and then being KO’d unconscious.”
This video is so simple, yet so funny.
