We have a good old NFL conspiracy theory on our hands.
During Thursday Night’s Commanders-Bears game, broadcaster Al Michaels reported on ESPN’s story that Snyder is threatening to expose NFL owners’ “dirty secrets” if they try to force him to sell the team.
Michaels went on to say that “the league would love” if Snyder sold the Commanders.
“I think what the league would love is for Snyder to sell the team, not have to go to a vote, but sell the team because it’s become a major problem around the league”
"Just my feeling, I think what the league would love, is for [Dan] Snyder to sell the team. … He's just become a major problem around the league, obviously."

Some fans believe Bezos may have planted the comment because he’s been interested in buying the Commanders for years.
Jeff Bezos is working overtime to get Dan Snyder outta here so he can buy the team lmfao… Leaking all this shit the same day the Commanders play on Prime Video TNF

Did Al Michaels just read from a script given to him by Amazon to bash Dan Snyder in order to put public pressure on him to sell the team, ultimately to Jeff Bezos? #thursdaynightfootball

Should we talk about the Dan Snyder report on #TNF?

Bezos paid Al Michaels extra to say this so he can buy the Commanders https://t.co/u6jOjB8aGQ

Others believe the NFL was behind Al Michaels’ comment about Snyder.
Forgot to mention Al Michaels saying what he did about Snyder, that he should sell the team, is a HUGE DEAL. Al is essentially a league PR guy. When he speaks he’s speaking for the league.

Al Michaels is wired in at the top of NFL food chain. For him to say “the league would like for Dan Snyder to sell” is delivering a message from somebody 🤔

Al Michaels saying on NFL broadcast that the league wants Snyder to sell might as well be a Roger Goodell press release
