Cooper Flagg is starting to gather the hype that only a few basketball prospects have had over the past decade. And, the former class of 2025 prospect is now a 2024 prospect.

The Maine native is an absolute legend on the high-level travel basketball circuit. His all-around game and athleticism have scouts salivating.

Take a look at some of these highlights.

Clearly, the kid can play. And, with his reclassification from 2025 to 2024, the Montverde Academy player is now the top prospect in the 2024 class.

This isn’t a case of a kid who was already older than his peers, going back to the grade most kids with his birthday are in. Cooper Flagg won’t turn 17 until December.

As for his college recruitment, right now it seems like Duke and defending national champions UConn stand out. The On3 Prediction Machine has Duke at over 98%, but UConn seems to be gaining steam, based on rumblings from around the hoops scene.

Cooper Flagg, who recently got attention for a 1v1 game against Bradley Beal, also instantly becomes the favorite to be the first-overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Seems like he made the right choice.
