The Dodgers staged a fairly dramatic comeback to win the World Series on enemy turf on Wednesday, and fans attending a Kings game back in Los Angeles had an awesome reaction while watching the team secure the trophy in between periods.

Game 5 of the World Series wasn’t exactly a must-win for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the team was obviously hoping to seal the deal at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night to avoid having to head back home to continue a series against a squad that would have had some serious momentum on its side.

It initially looked like the Yankees were going to win their second game in a row after pulling out to a 5-0 lead in the third inning, but a disastrous collapse that saw the Dodgers tie things up by scoring five runs in the top of the fifth sparked a comeback that ended with Los Angeles walking away with the 7-6 victory and securing a World Series for the eighth time in franchise history.

Fans who headed to Crypto.com Arena to watch the Los Angeles Kings face off against the Golden Knights were already having a pretty good night when you consider their team headed into the locker room after the second period with a 4-1 lead over Las Vegas.

That turned out to be a pretty well-timed break in the action, as the Dodgers headed into the bottom of the ninth with the chance to put things away as the Zambonis took to the ice prior to the final 20 minutes of play.

Fans at the Kings game were able to watch the final frame unfold on the Jumbotron, and we were treated to an awesome moment when the arena exploded after Walker Buehler struck out Alex Verdugo to cap things off.

That wasn’t the only victory those spectators were treated to by the time the night wrapped up, as the Kings ultimately came away with a 6-3 win.
