Incredibly scary moment at a Pirates and Braves spring training game yesterday. A player lost grip of a bat and it went flying into the stands and directly at the face of a young fan. Naturally, the kid was paying ZERO ATTENTION to the game and looking at his cell phone. Thank God his dad is bro hero.
Dad sprung into action, did the “no seatbelt” arm move and blocked the bat from smashing the kid in the face and ruining his life for ever.
Hey, people at sporting events, PUT THE DAMN PHONES DOWN.
