Fans of all the NFL teams other than the Dallas Cowboys can typically agree on one thing: they do not like the Dallas Cowboys at all. And, After a three-interception performance by Cowboys quarterback and routine target of internet vitriol Dak Prescott, NFL fans are taking a victory lap after the 49ers blasted Dallas, 42-10.

It was arguably the biggest matchup of the early going in the NFL so far. But, the Dallas Cowboys flat-out laid an egg on Sunday Night Football in front of what was almost certainly the most-watched non-Taylor Swift game all year.

Some of the stats are stunning. Total yards were in favor of the San Francisco 49ers 421-197, and it’s only that close because they called the dogs off with most of the fourth quarter remaining. First downs were 25-8, and time of possession was nearly 2:1 in favor of the San Francisco 49ers. It was a complete demolition, and showed that the Cowboys are simply not in the top tier of the NFC with the 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.

But, what NFL fans are most giddy about are the three interceptions that Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott threw. Even though Prescott is a model citizen and a halfway decent player, he might be the most disliked player in the league, simply because he’s the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless even threw his Dak Prescott jersey in the trash. Stay cool, Skip.

Prescott finished 14/24 for 153 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. The three interceptions came in a span of around ten minutes of game time in the second half in what was a competitive-ish game at halftime.

The memes were out in full force. Here are just a few of them.

It’s going to be a rough day to be a Dak Prescott and Dallas Cowboys fan at the water cooler on Monday.
