There’s a possibility that Cowboys players may revolt against their owner Jerry Jones who came out strongly this week saying that none of his players were allowed to “disrespect the flag” and kneel before the anthem.

According to various reports, the players held a team only meeting in which they asked Jones about his strong stance against anthem protesters.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting that one Cowboys player feels like Jones has changed his tone recently and is angry at that the Cowboys owner basically used them for a photo op when they knelt as a team before the anthem earlier in the season in Arizona.
#Cowboys player to me on J. Jones mandate to stand: "I've never heard this tone from Jerry, ever. Goes against everything he told us in Arz"

According to writer/activist Shaun King, Jones is dictating exactly how Cowboys players should act/stand during the anthem.

Despite Jones’ actions it doesn’t appear that any of the Cowboys players are willing to go against him.
