While free agent Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook remains unsigned, it certainly seems like he and his team are angling for a move to the New York Jets.

Not only did Cook tweet about how he’d fit into the Jets’ offense a few weeks ago, but now Cook’s agent Zac Hiller also seems to be implying that’s where his client wants to land.

Hiller said nothing to contradict the notion that the Jets are very interested in Cook, or that Cook is very interested in the Jets. Cook has said he wants to win a Super Bowl, and Hiller’s comments make it very clear that Cook believes he could win one with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the other great players on the roster. If Cook does join Gang Green, he’ll be joining a loaded (on paper) offense on a team that has Super Bowl expectations.

Alongside Cook, if he did sign with the team, the Jets’ offense would also boast Offensive Rookie of the Year wide receiver Garrett Wilson, veteran pass catchers such as Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman Jr., Corey Davis, and Randall Cobb, fellow stud running back Breece Hall, and, of course, four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers.

The bookmakers out of Las Vegas certainly seem to like the way the 2023 Jets have been constructed, as the team is currently one of the top seven betting favorites to win next season’s Super Bowl.

At this time — which is about two weeks prior to the start of NFL training camps — only the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Dallas Cowboys have shorter odds to win the Super Bowl than the Jets.

The New York Jets will begin their 2023 training camp on Saturday, July 22, so it will be interesting to see if Cook lands with them (or another team) before then.
