Trade rumors are running rampant when it comes to the Portland Trail Blazers. This is a pivotal offseason for the franchise, as they could enter a full rebuild.

Many wonder if the front office will trade away the No. 3 pick overall, or possibly trade Damian Lillard.

Additionally, other players like Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic could be on the chopping block as well.

But Lillard got the NBA community buzzing during an interview on The Last Stand podcast.

Damian Lillard was asked about the trade rumors floating around the league and the Trail Blazers star went as far as to share the two teams he’s open to being traded to.

Lillard openly claimed that he’d be open to playing for the Miami Heat or the Brooklyn Nets. Check out his full response in the video below.

It seems the superstar point guard wants to play with people he’s friends with. Additionally, it sounds like he loves the roster build for both the Heat and Nets.

Could you imagine if Miami pulled off a trade for Damian Lillard? He’d be teaming up with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. That’d be a difficult big three to stop.

On the other hand, the Nets have plenty of assets after trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving midway through the season.

They certainly could give up a haul to acquire Lillard and still have draft picks left over to potentially acquire another star.

Either way, the rumors surrounding the Trail Blazers are red hot right now.

Keep an eye on this team, as they could potentially trade Damian Lillard or the No. 3 pick overall in the NBA Draft. It just depends on how the front office wants to build the roster.
