Dan Orlovsky has established himself as one of the biggest names in all of NFL media. The former UCONN and NFL quarterback has established himself as an excellent analyst.

Orlovsky played in the NFL for 13 seasons, with his most memorable moments with the Detroit Lions. The quarterback did have one moment that stuck out more than others, for all the wrong reasons.

This is one of the most embarrassing plays in NFL history.

But, he’s pretty knowledgeable about the game. His analysis on ESPN, where he’s been since 2017, is often lauded.

He’s so knowledgeable, in fact, that Orlovsky was talking to teams about big-time coaching positions, according to new reports.

He would be a pretty unorthodox choice for an offensive coordinator job, given that he has no coaching experience. But, NFL teams have been willing to think outside the box, as the Colts hired Jeff Saturday out of the television booth to be their interim head coach this year.

I’m sure Orlovsky will find himself on an NFL sideline soon enough.
