Dan Orlovsky had his mind blown by the meaning of the word "percent"

If you ever find yourself in a place where the peanut gallery of The Pat McAfee Show — which includes the likes of “Tone Digz” and “Boston Connor” (he of the hilarious Bill Belichick tattoo, lest we forget) — is having to educate you on something outside the realm of football, you’ve gone horribly astray. Dan Orlovsky found himself in that exact position on Monday when he admitted to not knowing that all percentages were out of 100.

While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Dan Orlovsky queued up what he thought was going to be a mind-blowing revelation to the gang: the meaning of the word “percent.”

Orlovsky was particularly blown away by the fact that the word could be broken down into two distinct parts: “per” and “cent” (as in century).

The rest of The Pat McAfee Show crew, however, couldn’t believe what they were hearing from the former NFL quarterback.

“Sometimes these things provide an important reminder that there is a not insignificant portion of the human race, that we are competing against, who are absolutely dog s— stupid,” one viral tweet reacted to the video.

Orlovsky is also a guy who was blown away by McAfee’s recent country album Diary of a Polarizing Figure, so we clearly aren’t dealing with the sharpest of minds here (outside of the realm of analyzing quarterbacks, which Orlovsky is one of the best in the business at).
