Adam Sandler’s long time pal and movie cameo veteran Dan Patrick has shared a pair of epic photos from behind-the-scenes of Happy Gilmore 2, which is currently in production. Happy Gilmore 2 is a sequel to the 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore, one of the most beloved and iconic films of Sandler’s career.
Happy Gilmore features Adam Sandler as a rage-fueled hockey player-turned-golfer who begins to make waves PGA Tour with his unorthodox style and aggressive personality.
Back in September, BroBible was able to exclusively reveal that the 1998 U.S. Open will be a major plot point in the film, as signage for the competition was seen on the set of Happy Gilmore 2 when it was shooting at the Beacon Hill Country Club in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, earlier this year.

Here’s what Netflix had to say about Happy Gilmore 2 when the project was officially announced over the summer.
“It’s been almost 30 years since we last saw Happy Gilmore, the long-driving hero who won in the Tour Championship in 1996. Now, we finally get to catch up with him in a new sequel. That’s right, Adam Sandler is returning to the golf green as Happy Gilmore, and he’s bringing along a few new and familiar faces.”
In addition to Adam Sandler as the titular Happy Gilmore, Julie Bowen will be reprising her role of Virginia Venit, as will Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin. Additional returning cast members include Allen Covert, Dennis Dugan, and Ben Still has Hal L.
Benito Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny), Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Scott Mescudi, Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, and Nick Swardson have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles, while Travis Kelce, Eminem, and John Daly are set to cameo as themselves.
Happy Gilmore 2 is being produced by Netflix and while it does not have an official release date at this time, it will certainly be released on the streamer next year.
