UFC CEO Dana White is doubling down on his comments about the NFL.

Last week, White made headlines when he said the UFC was competing with four other major sports, and that the NFL was angry when Paramount signed the UFC to a $7.7 billion deal.

“We are not the sam“We are literally right now competing with the NFL, the NBA, Major League Baseball, and the NHL. If you think about where we sit in the pecking order of the top sports in the country, I don’t know this to be true, but I fu—– guarantee you it is: The day we announced that we did a $7.7 billion dollar deal, the executives at the NFL said, ‘How the f– did we not get this money, and how did we not know that kind of money was sitting over there? We’ll do games on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.’”

White received immediate pushback from fans on social media over his comments.

Over the weekend, White again claimed that the NFL was not happy with the UFC signed their deal with Paramount.

“They’re animals, man…I don’t know this to be true, but I absolutely, positively know this to be true. When we announced our Paramount deal, the NFL must have got together the next day and said, ‘There was $8B sitting over at Paramount and we didn’t get it?’…All of those guys are gonna be gunning for our deal.”
