UFC CEO Dana White is kicking off 2025 by teaming up with Mark Zuckerberg. On Monday afternoon, Zuckerberg announced that White would join Meta’s Board Of Directors to help with the future of AI, wearables, and social media.
“I’m excited to kick off the year with some news we’ve been working on for a while: Dana White, John Elkann, and Charlie Songhurst are joining Meta’s board of directors. We have massive opportunities ahead in AI, wearables, and the future of social media, and our board will help us achieve our vision.”

White issued a statement on social media after being named to Meta’s board.
“I’ve never been interested in joining a board of directors until I got the offer to join Meta’s board. I am ahuge believe that social media and AI are the future.”

White and Zuckerberg’s relationship has grown in the past few years as the Meta CEO has gotten into MMA and attended several UFC shows.
