Dana White made the media rounds to promote the UFC’s White House card, and things got a bit awkward when he was asked about his relationship with President Trump.

Over the past few years White has publicly praised Trump despite saying that he doesn’t fee like he’s a politcal person.

“Nobody took us seriously. Nobody. Except Donald Trump. Donald was the first guy to recognize the potential we saw in the UFC and encouraged us to build our business”

On Friday, White went on “The Breakfast Club” show and was grilled about his relationship with Trump.

During the interview, Charlamagne Tha God asked White why he hasn’t told Trump that h’s failing the country.

“Why can’t you tell your friend he’s failing the people?”

White defended Trump from Charlagmane’s critques.

“I don’t know if I agree that he’s failing the people. When the president is done in 3 years, people will look back and realize a lot of the good things… You’re never gonna have a president that everybody approves 100%. Not everything is always gonna be perfect.”

Charlamagne continued going back and forth for a bit.

Charlamagne: “But don’t be a glazer though.”

Dana: “I don’t think anybody’s ever accused me of being a yes man.”

Charlamagne: “So you’re responsible for the high tariffs, and high inflation costs, people’s health care getting cut.”
