Deion Sanders and Colorado were all-but dead in the water after the first half against USC on Saturday. The Buffaloes went down 34-14 at the break and it looked like the Trojans were going to run it up.

Things only looked even more grim after Caleb Williams found Brenden Rice for six midway throught the third quarter. USC went up 41-14.

Colorado ultimately went on to mount a significant comeback during the second half and only lost by seven. Five-star freshman Cormani McClain, who Coach Prime called out publicly during the week, stepped up in a big way and played like a man possessed.

However, as the Buffaloes took possession with 22 minutes and 14 seconds left in the game, there was very little hope for a comeback. It was pretty deflating.

As a result, around the same time, Colorado’s behind-the-scenes staffers were tasked with keeping the sold-out crowd entertained. In-stadium entertainment is one of the most underrated, most important parts of a college football game day atmosphere.

That could be a hat shuffle game on the jumbotron or a kiss cam. In Boulder, as the Buffs were getting blown out, they introduced a ‘Barbie Cam.’

“Colorado is currently hosting a mid-timeout stadium “Barbie Cam” where they’re just showing a bunch of white blonde women,” said USC beat reporter Luca Evans on X, formerly known as Twitter. Brian Fischer also noted the ‘Barbie Cam’ and wondered if there was to be an Oppenheimer Cam.

Meanwhile, over on the Colorado sideline, Coach Prime was having none of it. He was deflated because of the score and the Barbie Cam put him over the top.

Sanders grabbed a chair, plopped it down, and took a seat.

Obviously, Sanders may not have been reacting specifically to the Barbie Cam. There was a lot going on in that moment. But Barbie might have been the last straw!
