Things aren’t going well for Deion Sanders and his new offensive coordinator, Pat Shurmur.
Earlier this week, Sanders demoted offensive coordinator Sean Lewis while looking to shake things up.
Unfortunately, the Buffs offense is still struggling, but now the team is making embarrassing mistakes on the field.
With 50 seconds left to go in the half and near their own end zone, Sanders and the Buffs decided to throw the ball instead of running out the clock.

After throwing two incompletions, Oregon State was able to call a timeout and force a punt. With a short field, the Beavers scored with 20 seconds left in the half.

Sanders would later take responsibility for the poor clock management at the end of the half.
Deion Sanders tells ESPN that poor clock management to end half is on him. #CUBuffs down 14-3 when it should be 7-3. No reason to do anything but run the clock out inside your own 5-yard line, ESPECIALLY when the offense has been this bad.
