Deion Sanders is the biggest attraction in Colorado right now but he is not above the law. His son, Deion Sanders Jr., made this abundantly clear when he shared video of his dad’s Lamborghini SUV getting a parking ticket in Boulder.

Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes are headed to face #10 Oregon this week in their toughest matchup of the season. And they will do so without two-way star Travis Hunter. Almost all of us can forgive Coach Sanders for having bigger things on his mind than parking meters at the moment but not the law. The meter maid said ‘not today, Sanders!’ and fined the Buffs coach.

Deion Sanders Jr. shared a clip of his father’s Lamborghini SUV getting a parking ticket on Instagram. In the clip he says “Lamborghini Prime, love to see it” before zooming in on the ticket. He goes on to say “they even gave him a ticket. They don’t gave my dad a ticket. Ya boy this is crazy.”

In response to the video, one person wrote “Deion’s about to have his team score 80 on the cops during the charity flag football game next summer.” Another added “No one is above the law.”

This is a PRIME example of how social media shines a spotlight on everything these days. Sure, this is just a lighthearted post from Deion’s son but if this was 20+ years ago before Twitter it wouldn’t have made the headlines.

Back when I was in college, my school’s QB was NOTORIOUS for parking anywhere he wanted on campus and not paying the tickets. He’d double park cars and head into class. For obvious reasons, that wouldn’t fly these days when they’d get exposed for that kind of behavior.

Ultimately, this is nothing more than a simple parking ticket. But it is amusing to see Deion called out by his son on Instagram.
