Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is the ultimate wildcard in this year’s NFL Draft. Projections for the passer are all over the board. Some see the veteran signal caller as a franchise player and potential Top 5 pick. Others have him sliding out of the first round altogether.
FOX Sports analyst Emmanual Acho provided his outlook on Sanders this week. Shedeur’s brother, Bucky, took immediate offense to the discussion.
Acho is a former college and NFL defender. He’s more than qualified to give his opinion on player evaluation. This week, he posed a question to his football audience: Is Jaxson Dart actually QB2 ahead of Shedeur Sanders?
He then provided a video breakdown of Dart’s abilities while giving thorough analysis of how his game could translate to the NFL.

Acho is far from the only person to ask the question. A number of NFL organizations reportedly view Jaxson Dart as a better overall prospect. Most think they’re interchangeable at No. 2 behind Cam Ward.
Deion Sanders Jr. believed the breakdown held little weight. He quickly responded with a post on X sarcastically saying, “I was blind, but now I see.”
The post sparked a back-and-forth between Emmanuel Acho and Deion Sanders Jr.
Acho saw the reaction. He replied by suggesting Sanders Jr. be less sensitive.
I messaged you privately to chat. If simply asking “is Jaxson Dart QB2” is unfair or offensive to you, I’m unsure how I can even *attempt* do my job well without offending.
I’ve spent 2 yrs praising your family, not that y’all need my praise. I value relationships so let’s talk https://t.co/XG87EHib0I

That, again, led to a negative reaction from Bucky. “Don’t try to shake hands and be cool after this either like y’all wasn’t on h– s—,” he wrote.
Deion Sanders Jr. thinks media is turning on his brother for clicks. He doesn’t want to see Acho reverse course should Shedeur Sanders be drafted highly.
We’ll soon find out where Sanders is selected. The latest reports say the New York Giants are split on whether or not to take him at No. 3. Head coach Brian Daboll was described as “anti-Shedeur” by draft guru Todd McShay this week.

McShay also said the New Orleans Saints have no intentions to take Sanders at No. 9, meaning he could tumble all the way to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21.
Shedeur Sanders will not attend the NFL Draft in person. That will remove some anxiety about a potential slide to the late first round. Time will tell if or when the QB hears his name called on Day 1.
