Deion Sanders and Colorado are currently involved in a contentious recruiting battle with Syracuse University and it might come down to a hibachi dinner. The Buffaloes don’t eat enough hibachi.

Certainly not inside one of the most famous basketball arenas in the country!

KingJoseph Edwards has 35 scholarship offers from programs all over the country like Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Texas, Ole Miss, USC, Penn State and LSU. He down to Syracuse, Colorado and Florida State.

As a four-star prospect, Edwards is considered to be one of the top edge rushers in the country. A lot of schools are high on his potential, even though he is not ranked as a top 300 player nationally.

The Buffaloes and Orange would love to have him! However, it seems like Coach Prime is going to miss out in favor of first-year head coach Fran Brown in upstate New York.

Joseph cancelled his official visit to Boulder earlier this month after his primary recruiter left the program and took a similar job at Syracuse. He took a visit over the weekend and loved it!

The campus is nice. The atmosphere and culture is what I liked most. When we were out in the city, people would stop me and tell me they needed me and hoped I chose Syracuse […]

All week I was speaking to the recruiting staff. They wanted to make sure they accommodated me well. They treated me good and took care of me.

The hibachi dinner was the highlight.

Hibachi in the Dome was real good. The experience is something I’ll never forget.

Colorado fans were quick to point out that there is hibachi in Boulder. Joseph didn’t care!

No they don’t hibachi in the Dome […]

It was less about the hibachi and more about the experience. We ate out the entire time I was [at Colorado] last time. Hopefully I can experience the chef on my next visit.

One Buffs fan offered to by Edwards hibachi while he is in town next.

The fan pushed back and said that Colorado’s chef “does this 3 times a day, every day.” Edwards shut him down.

U mean hibachi but not in the Dome that’s in Syracuse 😂😂

Obviously, Edwards is not going to decide on where to play college football based one one hibachi dinner. There are a lot of other factors at play.

With that being said, it would be very funny if Deion Sanders was unable to land a recruit because he did not feed him hibachi inside of the basketball arena. Things are trending that way!
