Deion Sanders has already been named the next head coach football coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, but he still has some unfinished business with Jackson State.

Next Saturday, he’ll be coaching the Tigers in the Celebration Bowl against North Carolina Central for the team’s last game of the season.

Earlier this week, Sanders discussed the impending end of his tenure with Jackson State and had bold predictions both for how it would end and for what would come next.

In an interview, Coach Prime said that Jackson State is going to dominate in his last game as their head coach and then he was going to head to Colorado and have the biggest recruiting weekend in the program’s history.

We’re going to dominate Saturday (in the Celebration Bowl). Then I’m going to get back on a plane and we’re going to have the biggest recruiting weekend we’ve ever had in the history of Colorado football. That’s how it is going to go down.

Jackson State hasn’t done much besides dominating this season with 11 of their 12 wins coming by double digits and 5 of those coming by at least 35 points.

It looks like he’s expecting that dominance to carry over into his recruiting for Colorado. They have already been rumored to be trying to land a 4-star running back that decommitted from Notre Dame.

That certainly won’t be the biggest name Deion Sanders goes after in his first year with Colorado and it’s clear he has high expectations for what he’s going to bring to the Buffaloes football program.
