Colorado head coach Deion Sanders flexed his muscle in a pull-up competition over the weekend, taking down others on the staff. Most notably, he outperformed the team’s strength and conditioning coaches.

He’s still got it!

Coach Prime took down his competition with ease, ripping off 20 reps before calling it quits. The next closest foe recorded 16. And it looked like Sanders had a little left in the tank!

“Pull-up challenge! Anybody want some?” Prime asks. The invite was accepted, and Sanders backed his trash talk with an impressive showing.

The challenge starts around the 11-minute mark of the video.

“I just whooped strength and conditioning!” Sanders said after the set.

That second place performer happened to be former Clemson fullback Rendrick Taylor who played briefly with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

In third was assistant strength and conditioning coach Stephen Houston.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen an impressive weight room showing from the Colorado head coach. Just last offseason, he was seen throwing up 245 pounds on the bench press in a contest with his son, Jr.

“Bucky” was a former SMU football player who now handles social media for the football team. Coach Prime bested Bucky with six reps, lifting 245 LBs with ease.

Never doubt “Dad Strength!”

Deion Sanders is still in great shape, evidenced by the pull-up competition win. He’ll be a frequent flyer in the weight room this offseason as he looks to strengthen a Colorado team fresh off a four-win campaign.
