In the wake of Kobe Bryant’s death, Derrick Henry called Bryant his “favorite athlete of all-time” before donning a customized Kobe blazer to the NFL Awards, where Henry took home the FedEx Ground Player of the Year for the 2019 season.

Henry was hit hard by the death of his idol. He said via Titans Online:

“It’s indescribable. Kobe is my favorite athlete of all-time. I have four or five of his jerseys. I still don’t want to believe it. I guess it will really hit me when I get home and look at all my jerseys. It is so sad. He is a legend, an icon. And to hear his oldest daughter was with him, I can’t even put it into words. It’s so sad.”

Henry went a step further in honoring the Lakers great by employing the talents of famed celebrity jeweler ZoFrost.

According to TMZ, ZoFrost created a blinding Mamba Mentality pendant for the Tennessee Titans running back, complete with 35 CTs of diamonds weighing 120 grams.

The price: $85,000.

ZoFrost has been busy making blind for NFL stars lately, creating a Bruce Lee pendant for DeAndre Hopkins new quarterback, Kyler Murray.

Meanwhile, I’m saving money to buy my wife a pair of earrings from a kiosk at the mall.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
