This offseason the NY Knicks revamped their roster by acquiring injury prone Derrick Rose and the aging Joakim Noah which would likely make them a playoff team in the East.
Rose, however, has loftier expectations. While speaking to a group of reporters in Las Vegas, Rose lumped the Knicks with the Golden State Warriors as one of the league’s “Super Teams”.
“With these teams right now, they’re saying us and Golden State are the super teams, and they’re trying not to build that many super teams, and [commissioner] Adam Silver came out with the statement and this and that,”
The Internet quickly mocked Rose for his comments.
