Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is just weeks away from making his return to the NFL after more than 1.5 years out of action. Watson, of course, was held out the entire 2021 season by the Houston Texans amid an investigation into alleged misconduct.

The NFL then suspended Watson for six games following the completion of the investigation in the offseason. That decision caused severe backlash and the league eventually appealed the decision of Judge Sue L. Robinson. Ultimately, the league and Watson settled on an 11-game suspension that will see him return in week 13. Ironically, that return is set to come against the Houston Texans.

Though yet another new lawsuit could change those plans. And as it turns out, that wasn’t the only trouble that Watson got into in the offseason.

TMZ reported on Thursday morning that Watson was pulled out by Ohio state police just months after he was traded from Cleveland to Houston.
