The Detroit Lions Are Getting Destroyed For Posting Pathetic Graphic Bragging About Their Preseason Success

The Detroit Lions got tea-bagged last night by the New England Patriots in the preseason opener by a score of 31-3. Patriots backup Brian Hoyer looked like Uncle Rico circa 1982. Undrafted rookie wide receiver Jakobi Meyers scored two touchdowns, two more than the Lions would score all night. It was a thrashing.

It’s just the preseason, so it ultimately means nothing. Actually, um, I stand corrected. It evidently meant a whole lot to the Detroit Lions social media guy, who before the game took it upon himself to create a graphic akin to the New York Knicks hanging a “We Almost Signed Kyrie And KD” banner from the rafters at Madison Square Garden.

Look at this abomination.

WHOA don’t trip over your ballsacks, Detroit!

As if Lions fans needed a reminder that they were 4-0 in the 2008 preseason only to go 0-16. Zero wins. Sixteen losses.

Let’s see how fans responded.

When’s the parade in Detroit? I’m so there.
