Will Levis’ football career hasn’t exactly gone according to plan since his time at Kentucky came to an end.

He entered the pre-draft process with the expectation that he would be a top 10 pick and that he could even be selected in the top 5.

Instead, he tumbled down draft boards and the Tennessee Titans ended up drafting him 33rd overall.

At the time he was drafted, Titans fans weren’t exactly convinced that he is the team’s future at the position and that hasn’t really changed since.

Levis hasn’t actually signed his rookie deal yet, but the Titans have already gotten to see him in practice at OTAs.

Some reports coming out of OTAs said that Malik Willis, who was pretty terrible last season and has appeared to be a cut candidate, actually outperformed Levis.

It seems that hasn’t stopped Dez Bryant from having one bold expectation for Levis.

On Monday, Bryant appeared on a Twitter Spaces hosted by “The Personal Corner X-Perience” and predicted that Levis would start for the Titans by the end of the year.

We’re definitely going to see a few rookie quarterbacks starting for their teams during the 2023 season. 3 of them could be starting in Week 1.

Will Levis is not one of those 3.

To start the season, Ryan Tannehill will be the team’s starting quarterback and the team just added DeAndre Hopkins to try and give Tannehill a better chance to win.

If Levis is starting at any point this year, it means that didn’t pan out and the Titans are out of the playoff race.

Even if that happens, the Titans might be reluctant to start him if he hasn’t shown clear signs of improvement from the player that has been reported about this offseason.

The Tennessee Titans must have seen something in Levis that convinced them to take him in round 2, but it would still be very surprising to see them prove Dez Bryant right.
