Since photos of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel getting close at a private Arizona resort were made public, sports fans have been going back through her old public comments about both her husband and Vrabel in an effort to make sense of the situation. The latest resurfaced video saw Russini tell Ryen Russilo that him reminding her of Mike Vrabel is “a win.”

A clip from a January 2025 episode of The Ryen Russillo Podcast — where Dianna Russini told Russillo that being compared to Mike Vrabel is “a win” and dating-app-worthy — has resurfaced, taking on entirely new context given the situation she and the Patriots head coach now find themselves in.

Old clip of Dianna Russini telling Ryen Russillo that being compared to Mike Vrabel is “a win” and that he should put that on his dating apps resurfaces

“You once said to me – I think it’s one of the nicest compliments I’ve ever gotten – that you thought I was a lot like Mike Vrabel,” Russillo said in the clip.

“You should put it on any dating app, that’s a win,” Russini replied.

Since the Ambiente Sedona photos dropped — showing the two holding hands, hugging, and sharing a pool at an adults-only couples resort in Arizona — fans have been combing back through her work to try and suss out just how long this potentially illicit relationship with Vrabel has been carrying on. Sports fans have also unearthed numerous clips of Russini publicly belittling her husband.

After the publication of the photos, The Athletic initially stood by Russini and her claim that the pair were at the resort with a group of friends. The New York Times-owned outlet has since reversed course, however, and has suspended Russini while they investigate the situation.
