The NC State Wolfpack ended archrival Duke’s season on Sunday, taking the Blue Devils down in the Elite Eight. That win not only booked a ticket to the Final Four, but it also gave the Pack bragging rights amongst their Tar Heel State brethren.
After locking up the victory, forward DJ Burns wasted absolutely no time in mocking his opponent both on the floor and on social media.
Burns played a big role in that win, scoring a team-high 29 points for NC State. The performance was his best of the NCAA Tournament thus far, where he’s averaged an incredible 18.3 points per game.

The Wolfpack fell behind early in that contest, trailing by as many as nine in the first half. A huge second half allowed them to overcome that deficit as they outscored the Blue Devils 55-37 after the break.
When clocks hit zero, NC State left with a 76-64 victory as it now moves onto the Final Four.
DJ Burns quickly let Duke players know that their season was through.

“You should hear what they said to me,” he said after seeing that clip go viral.
Burns and Co. would enjoy the postgame celebration, cutting down the nets while sporting those F4 hats and t-shirts.
Shortly after getting back to the locker room, though, the big man was back at it.
DJ Burns trolled Duke on social media.

The clip shows Burns dishing to a teammate for a three-pointer, as a Blue Devil player goes flying by having fallen for a pump fake.
The Wolfpack got the last laugh on Sunday, and they’ve now eliminated Duke from both the ACC and NCAA Tournaments. Archrival UNC also lost this weekend, leaving NC State as the lone survivor in the state of North Carolina.
