Does This Japanese Football Player Deserve To Spend A Night In Jail For This Very Dirty Hit?

YouTube

There are dirty hits that deserve a 15-yard personal foul penalty and then there are dirty hits that deserve to be prosecuted in a court of law. In this case, we’re dealing with the latter.

In a Japanese football game between Nihon University and Kwansei Gakuin University, a Nihon defender lunged into he legs of the Kwansei quarterback at least three strides after he threw a pass.

NHK World reports that the quarterback’s injuries will take about three weeks to heal. The Japan Sports Agency is currently deciding the best course of action to punish the player.

Even Vontaze Burfict would scoff at this hit.

Where does this hit rank next to the dirtiest hit I’ve ever seen? This happened in a Michigan high school playoff game last November…

But both of them in jail and throw away the key. For at least a couple days. Scare them straight.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
