It was a banner weekend for animals invading the soccer pitch. First we had a rogue rooster going full Benny Hill in Israel, much to the delight of the crowd. But that was just a warm-up act.
This right here is the main event.
A hero dog decided to spice things up during the River Plate-Rosario Central match by taking a big steaming dump on the grass.
It’s unclear if the movement was a comment on the quality of play or just a normal bodily function by a spooked canine.
What is clear is that the dog did us all a favor by eliminating any chance of a player taking an unnecessary dive on that part of the surface.
