Miami Dolphins punter Jake Bailey announced on Instagram with a few photos on Wednesday that he is now engaged to former New England Patriots cheerleader Bailey Medeiros.
That’s right.
Her name, once they tie the knot, will be Bailey Bailey.
The 26-year-old punter shared photos on Instagram of himself on the beach with his now fiance showing off her new engagement ring.
“Forever 🤍 12.19.23,” Medeiros wrote in the comments, which also saw the couple receive congratulatory messages from Kennedy Stidham (wife of NFL quarterback Jarret Stidham), the Dolphins organization, Miami wide receiver Braxton Berrios, Stanford football player Joshua Karty (Jake went to Stanford), and Miss Massachusetts USA 2017 Julia Rizzo (who also happened to be a Patriots cheerleader).
It turns out that Bailey, the female Bailey, has multiple ties to Julia Rizzo.
Not only were they both Patriots cheerleaders, Bailey Medeiros was Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2014.
They also work together in an organization founded by Bailey (the female Bailey), Women’s Empowerment Scholarship.

Jake Bailey played for the New England Patriots for four seasons after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was a first-team All-Pro for them in 2020 after averaging 48.7 yards per punt as well as handling kickoff duties.
Based on his Instagram account, Bailey and Bailey have been together for over three years.
