Miami Dolphins are trading offensive lineman Dan Feeney to the Chicago Bears, as reported by ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.

The deal, aimed at bolstering Chicago’s offensive line, sees Feeney heading to the Bears in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round draft pick.

Feeney, a seasoned player with 64 career starts and 96 total games played, brings a wealth of experience and depth to the Bears’ roster, addressing a crucial need for the team.

The 29-year-old lineman had signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins earlier this off-season, but this transaction now shifts him to Chicago, his hometown.

Originally a third-round selection by the Chargers in the 2017 NFL Draft, Feeney spent four years with the team before moving on to play for the Jets last year.

Last season, he participated in all 17 games, earning two starts.
