Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard isn’t exactly doing cartwheels over the news that “Hard Knocks” is about to spotlight their in-season show on Miami.

The long-time fan favorite NFL show, previously followed the Jets during the preseason, is set to start documenting the Dolphins after their November 5th matchup against the Chiefs in Germany.

Howard, not one to mince words, called “Hard Knocks” out as “B——.” He expressed his displeasure, particularly with the timing of the announcement coming right after the Dolphins’ 31-17 loss to the Eagles on Sunday night.

Howard: “‘Hard Knocks’ is b——, especially during the season,” Howard said, “No, I’m serious. I’m not a fan.”

The cornerback’s main concern is that the show will serve as an unnecessary distraction for a Miami team currently holding a 5-2 record and leading the AFC East.

Howard also questioned whether the Dolphins have done anything to receive such attention, stating, “I feel like before we get all the little fame that’s coming right now, I feel like we’ve got to put in work.”

Howard’s sentiments were echoed by several other players, who share his worries about how things might change with cameras inside the facility.

The general consensus among the players seems to be, “Hard Knocks” during the regular season? Not big fans.
