Dak Prescott Is Playing Pretty Good Football Right Now So Naturally ESPN Is Saying He’s The League’s Best QB

After getting absolutely embarrassed by the San Francisco 49ers back on October 8, the Dallas Cowboys have won three of their last four games, with the only loss coming against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are the defending NFC champions.

The Cowboys offense, in particular, seems to have turned a corner, as they’ve scored at least 20 points in their last four games and scored more than 40 in two of them.

More so than the offense as a whole, however, has been the play of Dak Prescott, who has put together a stretch of performances that team owner Jerry Jones says is the best of his career.

Naturally, though, given the nature of ESPN, the network has taken the inch that Dak has given it and has taken it a mile, as there was a discussion on the Tuesday episode of Get Up about whether or not Prescott is the best quarterback in the National Football League right now.

“He’s been the best quarterback in the NFL since that 49ers loss,” NFL analyst Dominque Foxworth told the shocked trio of Mike Greenberg, Dan Graziano, and Jeff Saturday.

“He’s the best statistically by almost all of the advanced metrics. And then if you watch the games, you also notice he’s not getting great protection. He’s balling with the offensive line collapsing, he’s not getting a running game. As great as we thought Tony Pollard was, that running game does not exist. CeeDee Lamb is playing well but Dak, I think, is making everything much easier for everyone around him, including the coaching staff,” Foxworth continued.

Regardless of how well Prescott might be playing in mid-November, he’s still not given NFL fans any reason to believe that this postseason will be any different for Dak and the Cowboys than it has been in the past.

With eight games left to play this season,  Dak and the Cowboys still have matchups against the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders (twice), Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and Detroit Lions.
