President Trump Announces UFC Fight Will Take Place At White House

We might be getting a UFC event at the White House. On Thursday, Donald Trump held a rally in Iowa and revealed some special plans for America’s 250-year celebration next year on July 4th.

According to Trump, he’s working with UFC CEO Dana White to hold a UFC event at the White House next July 4th.

“We’re gonna have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there, we’re gonna build…Dana’s gonnna do it, he’s great, one of a kind…

“It will be a UFC fight, a championship fight, full fight like 20-25,000 people, and we’re gonna do that as part of 250 also.”

As of now it’s unclear how tickets will be available, or who will fight on the card, but if true it will be a massive event.

Update: The UFC spokesperson confirmed to Sports Business Journal that the UFC is working on a fight card at the White House.
