Seemingly everybody has a take on pop megastar Taylor Swift and her new relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The two were rumored to have been dating in recent weeks, and those rumors were confirmed when Swift showed up to Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears last Sunday.
That’s led to a litany of hot takes from everyone in the sports word, to everyone in the music world, and everyone in between.
SportsCenter host Elle Duncan even went as far as calling the entire thing a hoax.
“It’s a stunt! It’s a stunt!” Duncan said on a recent episode of her podcast. “And there was nothing more clear that it was a stunt than watching them leave the arena together.”
“He looked nervous. He looked like he had zero game,” she continued. “It was the most platonic walk of all time. That’s all I kept thinking when they were walking by — platonic. That’s all I kept thinking when they were walking by – pllllaaattonnniicc.
“He’s never touched that woman. They’re not dating. This is a stunt.”
But you know who doesn’t think the relationship is a hoax? Former president Donald Trump.
Trump, of all people, weighed in on the new it couple. And in typical Trump fashion, he dropped a hot take on the couple as well.
“I wish the best for both of them,” he said in a new interview with the Daily Caller. “I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not.”
Now, if anyone would know a few things about failed relationships, it would be him. And the odds are in favor of them eventually breaking up.
But who knows?!
Maybe she determines that Kelce is the one. After all, she did put him on the map.
Swift will be in the building to watch her new boo again on Sunday. The Eras Tour star is expected to be at MetLife Stadium in New York to watch the Chiefs take on the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football.
