Donna Kelce, mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, opened up about her son Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
Donna talked about her fondness of Taylor’s music, revealing that her favorite Taylor Swift song is “Shake It Off.”, in a podcast on “Got It From Momma,” with Jennifer Vickery Smith.
Donna talked about the attention and drama surrounding Travis and Taylor’s relationship since they went public a few weeks ago.
Donna admitted that the NFL had personally told her that the Kelce family’s association with Taylor Swift had generated positive publicity for them. She quoted the NFL as saying, “The Kelce family has done more good PR for football than they could’ve paid a million dollars to a PR firm.”
She added with a chuckle, “The NFL is laughing all the way to the bank.”
Donna also had an interview on the TODAY show on Friday, talking about how it felt hanging out with Taylor.
According to TMZ, Swift and Travis have been dating for months, but kept their relationship low-key, so things haven’t developed as quickly as some believe in the media, this has been going for awhile
Donna Kelce is totally right, consider how many young female fans now watch the NFL because of this relationship.. when will the attention stop? only time will tell.
